Tembipowers is one of the best lyricists amongst the up-and-coming artists hailing from the mother city. ‘Myeke Apheke’, which translates to let him cook, is a freestyle-esque single that is simplistic in its construction with a hard hitting bass as the lead melody for the song. The song sees Tembipowers take on a more lax style of rapping in comparison to the hard hitting raps we have come to expect from him. Despite this, the artist still managed to deliver a solid lyrical performance and judging by how he rapped, his verses feel like they were off the dome, and the approach is perfectly suited for the production.
