Current Stock
Our stock rotates depending on what is available through our collections and partner donations. We always expect to have paint, a range of timber, blocks and paving slabs, pipes and boards, and will often have plumbing materials, bathroom fixtures, doors, guttering, and DIY packs for your own projects. WHO CAN BUY FROM US?
We welcome trades and members of the public to our shop from 10am – 4pm on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays 10am – 1pm.

WHAT MATERIALS DO YOU HAVE?
We stock a wide range of building materials including timber, bricks and blocks, paint, pipes, lintels, drainage, builders metal work and electrical fittings. We don’t require you to buy full packs of materials, so if you are looking for a few bricks to finish a path or are short of a couple of lengths of wood we can provide these at a low cost. If you are looking for something specific please get in touch so we can advise on what is available.

CAN YOU DELIVER MATERIALS?
We can deliver materials within a 25 mile radius of our shop in Carlisle.
Delivery costs £20 for all orders. It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure they are happy with the condition of materials before delivery is arranged, and therefore we still suggest that customers visit the depot to purchase materials and to arrange delivery.

WHY ARE YOUR MATERIALS CHEAPER THAN OTHERS?
Our materials are new, surplus or excess materials collected from construction sites, which basically makes them secondhand. They may have been stored for a period of time, and some of them might show some light signs of wear and tear, depending on storage conditions prior to us collecting them. Our prices reflect this.
Our goal is to divert perfectly good materials away from being recycled or sent to landfill.

CAN I RETURN ITEMS I HAVE BOUGHT FROM YOU?
We will accept returns of materials returned in the same state as they were purchased within 30 days provided a valid receipt is provided as proof of purchase.

CAN I RESERVE MATERIALS?
At the moment we don’t accept reservations of materials without payment. However we can advise on what is in stock by calling the shop in advance of making a journey.

DO YOU SELL PAINT?
We’re part of the Community RePaint scheme, diverting usable paint from incineration. Paint is on sale from £2 per litre. We stock a range of masonry, matt emulsion and furniture paint.
