There are times when one wonders if one can get more than enough success, and if one looks at Chris Brown, one could say “probably”. Chris Brown’s fifth album FORTUNE is causing major waves around the world, likely due to the fact that this is a more raw side to Breezy. In 2012 alone, he’s taken home numerous awards at all the major shows including a recent BET Award in July.
It seems as though he never gets tired of making hits. This album is Chris’ first release through RCA Records, following the disbandment of Jive Records in October 2011. Club banger-joints is what Breezy is all about, as the album still contains the same sound elements as the F.A.M.E album but with a unique and raw twist.
Proving to be more than a singer, “Till I Die”(which features Big Sean and Wiz Khalifa) reveals the rapper that is within Breezy himself. The album also features quite a variety hip hop heavyweights such as Big Sean, Wiz Khalifa, Nas and Kevin McCall.
Having released quite a number of mixtapes whereby he showcases his rapping skills,he has convinced many that he is not limited by his common music genre and that he is not just about love songs and singing, but is also about the ryhmes and beats. That “feel good” music is what you can get from Breezy, regardless of all the legal problems one man can have and regardless of whether your looking for soothing music or Hip Hop, he’s got you!
Doubling up as executive producer on Fortune, Breezy collaborated with several producers, including The Underdogs, Polow da Don, Brian Kennedy, The Runners, The Messengers, Danja and Fuego.
