Possible activities include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Pricing stock<\/li><li>Welcoming and assisting customers&nbsp;<\/li><li>Conducting sales transactions (including occasionally handling cash)<\/li><li>Entering transactions in to stock management system<\/li><li>Keeping a shop record of enquiries and deliveries<\/li><li>Light cleaning of shop area and organising of stock<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Other activities also available:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Splitting pallets and de-nailing wood<\/li><li>Processing \/ sanding down timber<\/li><li>Making bird box, bat box and hedgehog house kits out of wood for sale in the shop&nbsp;<\/li><li>Moving stock around the shop<\/li><li>Assisting on collections and deliveries (Fridays only)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>We offer a friendly and fun place to volunteer, plenty of tea and biscuits, and the opportunity to learn new skills, in a team that is committed to reducing waste and carbon emissions, supporting our communities and spreading the word about reuse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Volunteering placements can be every week, fortnight or month, for either a half day (10am \u2013 1pm\/1pm \u2013 4pm) or a full day (10am \u2013 4pm)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All training, health and safety briefings, equipment (including PPE) and tea\/coffee\/biscuits are provided.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Does this sound up your street?
