We either donate these to community groups and charities for their projects, or they go into our shop to provide materials at a low cost to our local community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Four times a year we host a Rebuild Donation Day, where we accept donations of building materials from the general public at our depot in Carlisle.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Our next donation day is Sunday 12 June, 10am \u2013 1pm.<\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Donations are most useful to us when they are in saleable condition. For us, this means they are new\/unused, clean and organised, and not damaged or broken!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Donation Wish List:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Timber lengths, both dressed and undressed, treated and untreated<\/li><li>Timber offcuts<\/li><li>Decking<\/li><li>Fence panels and posts<\/li><li>Skirting boards and architrave<\/li><li>Window boards\/window sills<\/li><li>MDF and OSB<\/li><li>Ply wood sheets<\/li><li>Plasterboard of all types, including reasonably sized offcuts (eg \u00bd sheet)<\/li><li>Insulation<\/li><li>Guttering<\/li><li>Tiles<\/li><li>New blocks and bricks<\/li><li>Paving slabs<\/li><li>Packs of laminate flooring<\/li><li>Full packs of wood screws and nails (organised\/sorted \u2013 we don\u2019t have time to sort through big tins of nails unfortunately!)<\/li><li>Taps and other ironmongery<\/li><li>Plumbing parts<\/li><li>Radiators, towel rails<\/li><li>Kitchen sinks<\/li><li>Kitchen worktops (new\/unused\/surplus)<\/li><li>Drainage pipes and associated fittings<\/li><li>Sand (in unopened bags)<\/li><li>Paint tins (at least half full)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>If you have other items not listed here which you think might be useful, email us to see if we can accept them:&nbsp;<a href=json/_-3.json>info@rebuildsite.co.uk<\/a>, or give us a call Thursday \u2013 Saturday on&nbsp;07391161008<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We\u2019re also accepting standard sized doors for a community project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What we definitely can\u2019t take:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Aggregates\/tarmac etc<\/li><li>Liquids other than paint, anything with a chemical label<\/li><li>Any used bathroom or kitchen goods<\/li><li>Furniture etc<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>We reserve the right to refuse anything that we think we can\u2019t send to our community groups or sell in the shop.
